It all started with our passion for the sea

We are a multicultural team sharing the same passion: the sea. We live five minutes' walk from the sea in Limassol, all year round we enjoy coastal rowing, open water swimming, surfing or diving.

We decided to take coastal rowing to the next level

In 2019 we discovered coastal rowing and it became instantly a new passion, a new way to feel the sea.

With our background in Earth Observation sciences and Software engineering, we wanted to help athletes and coaches see the "full picture" from their boat(s) in open water.

We used our expertise in sensor fusing, software engineering and data analysis to deliver a tool for coastal rowers that provides navigation guidance and live information for enhanced safety and on rowing technique.

Safety, navigation, rowing insights streamlined and easy: this is what we wanted to achieve with KOPI.
